From Bangkok
to Sydney
The unbroken chain. What we teach on the Sydney mats is the same Muay Thai handed down by Grand Master Toddy from the camps of Bangkok. No remix, no shortcuts.

The Father of Muay Thai
Grand Master Toddy, known as Arjarn Toddy, is one of the most legendary figures in modern Muay Thai. From his Bangkok camps he shaped champions and built the MTIA grading system, carrying the authentic bloodline of the art to the world. Every rank earned at SMTA traces directly back to his mat.
From Bangkok
to Sydney
The Mongkhon is not decoration. It carries the spirit of every teacher who came before. At SMTA, we don't borrow Muay Thai. We inherit it, the way it was passed to us, unbroken, from the Bangkok rings to the Sydney mats.

The teacher behind our teachers. The bloodline we train under.
Ajarn Toddy, Grand Master of Muay Thai, recognised by the Thai Ministry of Education and the Muay Thai International Association for carrying the art beyond Thailand’s borders without diluting it.
Trained in the camps of Bangkok, Toddy preserved the techniques, rituals and philosophy of authentic Muay Thai: the Wai Kru, the Mongkhon, the eight limbs, and passed them on unbroken.
His students have competed and won across the world’s biggest stages, carrying the Toddy name into the modern fight game while staying true to the traditional art.
From Las Vegas to Sydney, Toddy built academies that teach the art exactly as it was taught to him, with respect, discipline and no shortcuts.
Sydney Muay Thai Academy sits directly in that lineage. What you learn on our mats is the same Muay Thai handed down by the Grand Master himself.
