Muay Thai International Association
MTIA is an organisation dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of Muay Thai. Accredited by the Thai Ministry of Education, it offers standardised training and ranking systems globally, assisting practitioners and instructors in obtaining certifications endorsed by the Thai government.
The Father of Muay Thai
Grand Master Toddy, known as Arjarn Toddy, is one of the most legendary figures in modern Muay Thai. From his Bangkok camps he shaped champions and built the MTIA grading system, carrying the authentic bloodline of the art to the world. Every rank earned at SMTA traces directly back to his mat.
Foundation (1–3) · Progression (4–5) · Advanced (6–7) · Instructor (8). Each grade is awarded on the mat and recorded in your MTIA license book.
